IPFA UK: Is Brown the New Green? The Rise of European Brownfield Infrastructure M&A and Financing

The International Project Finance Association UK is holding an event on the rise of European Brownfield Infrastructure M&A and Financing.

Whilst Government’s across Europe remain supportive of new investment in infrastructure, the pipeline of investable greenfield development projects looks low. With record levels of investor allocations heading towards the infrastructure sector, finding deals to reduce “dry powder“ is critical to infrastructure investors/funds.

Over the past 5 years, whilst the greenfield deal flow has reduced, the level of Brownfield M&A activity has increased, flexing the definition of “Infrastructure”, creating new sub-categories of investment attracting ultra-low stable returns.

Michela Bariletti, Senior Director, Analytical Manager, Infrastructure Ratings at S&P Global, LTIIA Member, will participate in a panel discussion.

LTIIA members are invited to register as complimentary guests via IPFA website or email Jessica here.
